Kim Newman wurde 1959 in London geboren und wuchs in Somerset auf. Mit seiner furiosen Neuerzählung der Vampir-Saga hat er sich internationalen Ruhm erworben. Newman lebt als freier Schriftsteller und Journalist in London.
